- How do I register on the site ?
ON the left hand side you will see a menu. From that menu click on "Signup". Fill in the required spaces and hit send. You will receive an email to the address you provided. Click on the link within that email and your done!
- If I'm from another country how do I go about listing myself or group?
The code didn't allow me to change how the listing is set up. I'm working hard at including everyone, world-wide, so keep checking back.
- How do I list myself, my studio or a group ?
Once your logged into the site you will see on the left hand side menu a link called "Admin". Click on admin and you will see Add a listing. You can select multiple categories by holding down CNTRL and highlighting your selection.
- How do I log into my admin panel ?
You must be logged in to be able to click on the Admin buttton located on the left hand side menu.
- How do I choose more then one category ?
When logged into your Admin section and putting up a new listing the first box wants you to pick your category. If you hold down CNTL you can click multiple selections.
- How many pictures can I post and what are the size requirements ?
You can place up to 10 pictures on your listing. Images larger then 700 x 700 and over 100000 will not be uploaded.
- Is there any charge for listing ?
Listing yourself, company, group or organization is 100% free. No strings attached, come and go as you please and edit your listing to your hearts content.
- I need to edit my listing, how is this done ?
When logged into your Admin section you will see a link to "Edit my Listing". Click that and make your changes but be sure to click the save button so your changes will be made.
- How does the Search function work?
The best way to search for something specific is to choose your category of choice, ie. Studio or Teacher. If your going to a certain state you would want to type in South Carolina or S.C.. You can also do a site search by clicking the "View all listings" button on the left hand menu and then clicking the upper menu on the search page to sort by name, location, zip or state.
- Can I delete my listing?
You can delete your listing at any time. You may request to be removed from The Glass Directory by sending an email to admin.at.glassdir.dot.com
- Is there going to be banners for sale on the site ?
In the near future there will be banners running in the top right-hand corner of the site. To find out more please email me at admin.at.glassdir.com
- How can I support The Glass Directory ?
You can start by listing yourself! Adding it to your blog, website or e-store with a logo will help populate the site and tell all your friends and make sure they list themselves. The success of the Glass Directory will rely on the community to support it together. It is a resource for us ALL.
